All together one

Volunteering with an action pact program allows you to become part of something positive happening in your community. Whether your commitment lasts an hour, a week or a year, we promise you will be proud of the role you’ve chosen and it’s impact on the individuals we serve.

There are many ways to volunteer – we can’t wait to meet you!

HEAD START VOLUNTEERS

Spend time assisting in the classroom, reading to children and participating in special events. Becoming active in the lives of our Head Start children is sure to brighten your day!

COURT APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCATES (CASA)

CASA volunteers advocate for abused and neglected children in the foster care system and stay with each case until the child is placed in a safe and secure home. For many abused children, their CASA volunteer will be the one constant adult presence in their lives. **CASA volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of one year of service.

GEORGIACARES

GeorgiaCares volunteers provide free, unbiased and factual information and assistance to beneficiaries and their caregivers about Medicare, Medicaid and related health issues including long-term care insurance and prescription assistance programs. **Georgiacares volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of one year of service.

ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

Other Volunteers may choose to serve in our senior citizen centers, accompany our ETS students on field trips or assist in organizing community specific events.
